Founded in Istanbul in 2015 by Interior Architect andDesigner Alp Usluduran, Uslu Architects creates distinctive, design focusedspaces informed by architecture, context, and the people who inhabit them.
Uslu Architects begins each design process byunderstanding the building itself, considering its form, orientation, views, and defining architectural qualities. Each project is then shaped around theclient’s story, lifestyle, and aspirations. The result is a space that feelsdeeply personal while maintaining a strong relationship with its architecturalsetting.
Uslu Architects reinterprets conventional spatialplanning by combining distinctive 30° and 60° geometries with fluid, curvedforms.
Through this design language, the studio creates dynamic, characterful, and highly individual interiors. Its architectural approach also extends tofurniture and objects designed specifically for each project, allowingarchitecture, furniture, materials, and details to be considered as parts ofone cohesive whole.
Uslu Architects continues its furniture and productdesign practice through Uslu Design Studio, carrying its architectural approachinto the realm of objects. Exploring the relationship between architecture, objects, and everyday life, Uslu Design Studio presents its collections atinternational design weeks and exhibitions, expressing Uslu Architects’multidisciplinary design approach at the scale of furniture and products.
Alp Usluduran is an interior architect and designer basedin Istanbul. He began his studies in Interior Architecture at Mimar Sinan FineArts University in 2010 and spent an academic year at the Accademia di BelleArti di Brera in Milan, focusing on design. In 2015, he founded UsluArchitects, laying the foundations for Uslu to evolve into a multidisciplinarydesign platform.
Over the following decade, Usluduran developed anapproach to interior practice distinctly driven by design. He considers spaceas a cohesive system in which architecture, furniture, detail and materialcomplement one another and work together. Within this approach, furniture isnot treated as an element added to a space, but as an integral expression ofits spatial language.
The scope of Uslu expanded in 2021 with the founding ofUslu Art, introducing art consultancy for architectural projects into thepractice. Focusing on the integration of art within architectural environments, this was followed in 2025 by Uslu Design Studio, dedicated to furniture andproduct design conceived as collections. The studio brings architecturalthinking to the scale of the product, treating each piece as a direct extensionof space.
The debut of the Disco House collection at Milan DesignWeek 2026 marked a new chapter in this evolution. Bringing architecture, objectand atmosphere together in a refined contemporary expression, the collectionintroduced Uslu Design Studio to the international design scene.
